Navigating the challenges of Digital Nomads and remote Teams with Florian Jacques, Co-Founder and Ceo of Midstay

Download it: MP3 | AAC | OGG | OPUS

Welcome to today's podcast episode, where we will be discussing the challenges and solutions for remote and hybrid working. While the shift towards remote and hybrid work has opened up opportunities for digital nomads and companies to find talent globally, it has also presented new challenges such as social isolation and lack of personal connections. In fact, 25% of employees in a recent survey revealed that the loss of regular face-to-face contact with their colleagues was their biggest issue with virtual and hybrid working.

Joining us today is Florian Jacques, co-founder and CEO of Midstay, a company that helps remote workers overcome isolation by connecting them with like-minded individuals in their local area and recreating their colleagues' environment. Midstay also helps companies build their teams by organizing company retreats.

We dive into Florian's background and experience, the challenges of digital nomadism and remote teams, and how Midstay has addressed these challenges to enable more human connection in this remote world.

Stay tune and don’t hesitate to reach out to me and give me your feedbacks.

Create a flow to guide a team from A to C with Javier von Westphalen

While a consultant provides advice in a particular area of expertise, a facilitator is a neutral guide who brings a group of people together to accomplish a task.
My guest today, Javier von Westphalen has been a consultant for years and is now taking on a new role as a workshop facilitator.

Today we are talking about

- the role of a facilitator
- Why this new role gives him energy when his consulting role was so draining.
- What is the method he discovered that led him to change roles?
- And finally he gives us an insight into the techniques and exercises he likes to use to help a group of people make decisions.

Exploring the World of Digital Nomads and Multicultural Teams with Agnes Kay

Download it: MP3 | AAC | OGG | OPUS

I am very happy to present the first bonus episode of a series of talks, recorded live, face to face, during my travels. I am very lucky to meet interesting and inspiring people along the way who in one way or another have a connection to facilitation.

This episode was recorded in the southeast of Bali, in a town called Sanur. There I discovered not only a welcoming workspace, called Livit Hub, but also an incredible team. Livit is much more than a hub for digital nomads, it is also a community and a startup incubator, offering workshops and trainings for its members.
It was a real pleasure to meet Agnes Kay, Head of Growth, in person and to record this bonus episode face to face.

Stay tune if you want to learn more about:

- The world of digital nomads
- What services does Livit offer to digital nomads, but also to entrepreneurs and businesses
- What tools or methods can be used to manage multi-cultural teams
- What kind of workshops or team retreats are organised at Livit Hub

Enjoy this episode and if you liked it, feel free to rate the podcast with 5 stars on your player.

Let's go
